After going to the beach, what better way to know Baleal than to just walk around the island... and then continue to Ferrel or Peniche. You can also take a bike to get to know these places.

Surf is king but you may want to go on scuba diving, or snorkelling or go fishing. Even just going for a swim or walking along the sea will allow you to relax.

Apart from Baleal and Peniche, you shouldn't miss a day out in Berlengas (natural reserve, with pre-booking required), Óbidos, Caldas da Rainha, Mafra, Sintra or go and see the dynosaurs park in Lourinhã (Dino Parque). and of course... Lisbon is only 1 hour away and is worth see the city of the seven hills.
